SUMMARY:West Tennessee (WTN) Safety & Maintenance Council Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The West Tennessee (WTN) Safety & Maintenance Council meets in Memphis on the 2nd Thursday (even months). The Safety/Maintenance Management Councils were developed to promote methods and materials for improved safety and maintenance in the field of commercial motor vehicle transportation. The operation of a good safety compliance program is a duty and obligation of every motor carrier\, so carriers must stay abreast of constantly changing DOT regulations. The Tennessee Trucking Association Safety Management Council is an excellent source of information on safety and maintenance matters for TTA members. The Council consists of company safety and risk management personnel\, industry vendors\, and law enforcement officials. TTA encourages all companies with TTA members to have at least one active participant in the SMC/MC. The Councils are open to any TTA member company's employees involved in safety or maintenance. Meetings include lunches sponsored by members like you. To learn more about lunch sponsorship or your local council please contact your local council leaders.
